With over 20 years of practice, Dr. Turok is a recognized leader in interventional pain management and regenerative medicine. Dr. Turok has performed over one million interventional procedures, earning a reputation for excellence in traditional pain management. A pioneer in regenerative medicine, he is one of the most trusted and experienced providers of advanced treatments like stem cell therapy and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) in the Connecticut and New England region.
With over 10,000 regenerative procedures performed, Dr. Turok applies innovative methods to treat a range of conditions, from osteoarthritis to sports injuries, helping his patients regain quality of life. Dr. Turok’s initial exposure to regenerative medicine stemmed from treating professional athletes, including NHL and NFL players. Since then, he has expanded his practice to include treatments for chronic pain and age-related conditions.

Education and Professional Journey
Dr. Turok completed his interventional pain management training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, one of the nation’s premier programs. He earned his neurology training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, home to one of the highest-ranked neurology departments in the Northeast.
Prior to establishing his private practice, Dr. Turok served as Director of Neurology and Pain Management at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford and Newtown, Connecticut, as well as at Gracie Square Hospital in New York City. His experience extends to palliative and hospice care, where he acted as Medical Director for Jakow Perlow Hospice of New York.
His exposure to addiction medicine during his career also led him to direct St. Vincent’s Methadone Clinic, showcasing his diverse medical expertise.
